The Project
From day one, we were all in. We started with naming, then moved into brand identity, tone of voice, advertising, web design, signage, interior details—you name it. Everything was crafted from scratch to reflect a modern, inclusive, no-nonsense gym experience. The name GYM co was chosen to feel clean, confident and communal—like a place where anyone could walk in and feel part of something.
The visual identity was designed to be bold but friendly, stripped-back but never dull. Think solid typography, high-contrast colour schemes, and subtle nods to movement and energy. We carried that feel through every touchpoint—from the moment you walk past the signage outside, to the check-in screens, wall graphics and in-gym messaging. The tone? Motivational without the clichés. Straight-talking, encouraging, and real.
Outcome
GYM co has quickly made a name for itself in Belfast’s fitness scene, with several locations now up and running—and more in the pipeline. It’s fresh, recognisable, and built to last. From blank page to full brand, GYM co is proof of what a strong identity can do when it’s done right.
